Doomsday The Shortening

Shortday of the Dracolich
Terra is a tabaxi foreigner bard, seeking the guild for protection.
Dale is a human sorceror, also in the guild for that reason
Nera is a halfling cleric, seeking out her memories
Xavier is a Kenku Samurai, yearning to fly.
Takklinn is a Dwarf Barbarian, seeking to hit stuff.
And Jay is an Aasimar Rogue, with a mission on her mind.
They are members of a guild, given their first real mission. They pass and Xavier gets a bear companion. Terra gets what would become her signature instrument, the Thunderous orchestra, a magic lute. Then they get get two others, which they just barely pass. Jay is kidnapped by a Red Dragon. The party go off to rescue her. The dragon says there is a cult that wants bad things from him, and he wants the party to stop him. The party try, but are too late as the cult kills the Red Dragon and changes it into a Dracolich, which spurns Nera's memories into action. She remembers she used to guard the magic corpse. The Dracolich kills Jay and flies away.
The party head back to town and meet Vivian, a Tabaxi Dragoon, pissed that she saw a dragon and it got away. She gets into a barfight with Tak and Xavier, and the next day gets into two musical duels with Terra. Takk leaves the party. Yet she joins up with the party as they head off to Rosepetal Lake, a destination Nera's diety, Hlal, told her to go to. They set off and meet a Kobold in an eyepatch, who, after Xavier bodies, vanishes off. They also meet Zelos, a merfolk who joins the party.
They get on the lake and Xavier's body splits with the armour he was currently wearing. It turns out that Xavier is actuall Eizen, a dread pirate that Xavier had possessed due to a magickal sword. Still, the armour stays. Xavier's will to help the party was so strong it bound itself to the armour.
The party set off to the tower in the middle and, after a rough climb, both emotionally and physically, Nera is granted the powers of a Paladin. They also find Sophie, a Bloodhunter Harpy who was trapped in the tower for who knows how long. They are then teleported to the city-state of the dwarves, Eizen kicks ass all around the place, winning a tournament and a drinking contest. The party have to go into the sewers and there they re-meet the kobold, and his human companion, named Drassa and Zelda respectively. Vivian gets them to join the party, but Zelos leaves the party.
The party go to set off into the desert, but stumble upon a mage's tower. Vivian gets absorbed into her spear due to magic, and a robot, R.E.L.K, joins the party in her place.
They set off toward Fillwood and pick up a dragonborn mage along the way. Unfortunately she's crazy, and summons an Amethyst dragon and flies off into the night. Eizen goes to become the mayor of the town and succeeds. He then entertains some Canaanese dignitaries, who state they are looking for a girl that sounds like Terra. Eizen confronts Terra and she gathers the party and informs them that she was actually one of three leaders for the rebellion in Canaan. Afterwards, the party decides to get Eizen's ship and take the fight to the emissaries, who are making a new port city. They eventually find the ship and set off, then dock. RELK is sent as a distraction but defects to the side of the Canaanese. The party barely win.
Then the dracolich attacks, and Eizen loses his life in the process. RELK tries to restore it to him, but screws up and Zelda and Nera are fused into one person, Zera. RELK leaves the party and Drakengard go back to Fillwood to tell his ex-girlfriend. Terra finds out that the next step in the Canaanese mission is to kill the current ruler of Iselia and take over. The party just make it in time to see Alver, Terra's ex-lover and the current Canaanese emperor, fighting with the throne itself. The party barely win, but Alver gets away. Terra tries to chase him down, but loses the trail after the party knock her out to calm her down.
They go to the old guild, which is sadly broken down, the guildmaster dead. They see Lexi, a thief who had joined them for a short time earlier. She joins the party. They then head down to Dunwall, and have several encounters with an Illusionist, Eizen's daughter Tiara. Drasa isn't all that happy with her, but she does let the party lay low and shop in her town. But they can't rest too long, as the city suddenly burns down de to some night hags. They make their way to Claxton and hole up.
